Are you as obsessed about comics as Wolverine is about Kitty Pride’s new fragrance? Can you name every speedster to ever don a Flash costume before the speed force consumes you? Good, that means you’re the new talent we’re looking for!

If you’ve had wild dreams about becoming a comics journalist, then don’t think twice and apply now to join the Broken Frontier staff – a bunch of creative, critical, and borderline intellectual rascals with a deep-rooted love for all things comics.

We are always on the lookout for reviewers and bloggers with a strong and critical voice, and currently, we are also actively looking to fill the positions listed below. Do you love comics to death? We do too. For this position, we are looking for someone with a proactive attitude who wants to help us make Broken Frontier an even brighter beacon of quality comics coverage. You should possess solid editing and proofreading skills, know the meaning of the word ‘deadline’ and have basic Photoshop skills. And most importantly, you need to know your comics 101, from the big mainstream boys to all the indies.

So, can you name the creator behind Rachel Rising just as easily as you can explain the S.H.I.E.L.D. acronym? Then this is your chance to help shape the future of BF… but remember: With great power comes great responsibility! Start your application off by answering the question how you will contribute to make Broken Frontier as strong as we can be.

Graphic Designer

Want to help us take our digital comics magazine, The Frontiersman, to the next level? Then this position has your name written all over it! You must possess solid graphic design skills, be visually creative and know your way around Photoshop, Indesign and Illustrator like Catwoman knows her way down Batman’s pants. Show us your chops and submit at least 3 pieces of your design portfolio with your application.

News reporter

If you fancy staying on top of what’s going on in the comics industry, join our staff as a news reporter. Help us get comics news and previews out there as fast as we can, and go on the hunt for interesting facts so we can provide our visitors with an eclectic mix of the latest headlines in comics!

Developer

This position doesn't necessarily require a great deal of on-hands comics knowledge; your coding savviness overcomes everything! If you've got strong skills building websites and/or apps, give us a shout!
