Mutanities 101
Twitter has long played host to great dramas and plays. Some have chosen to reinact Shakespeare on the social media site, whereas others make up their own stories. Marvel gets in on the act today, when the Jean Grey School goes online.

Today at around 2 pm (EST), class is in session. By following specific characters from Wolverine and the X-Men on Twitter, the lecture from this weeks issue will be brought to life. More from Marvel.com:
On Wednesday, January 11 at 2:00 PM EST, you can log on to Twitter and grab a seat for Future History 101, directly from the page of WOLVERINE AND THE X-MEN #4! Join Kid Omega, Idie, Rockslide, Anole, Broo, Kid Gladiator and Genesis in a class taught by Headmistress Kitty Pryde with special guest lecturer Deathlok!
All you have to do is sign on to Twitter and be sure to follow @JeanGreySchool, @JGSHeadmistress, @DeathlokL17, @GenesisHero, @KidGladiator1, @QQuire, @idie_okonkwo, @_Broodling_, @SANTORULES and @_Anole_. Then be sure you've got your pencils sharpened and ties on straight because class starts at 2:00 PM EST sharp on Wednesday, January 11!
I wonder if I'd get detention if I skip?

Midnight Dark Knight Sales Fright
Planning to go see The Dark Knight Rises in the real Gotham - New York City? Well, you need to hurry up and buy your tickets.
That's right, midnight tickets for the final installment of Nolan's Bat-franchise have gone on sale over six months in advance. At the moment, only AMC theatres are selling the tickets (via Fandango) and only for the first midnight showing at that, but one theatre in the greater New York area has already been filled - it stands to reason more shall follow.
So get on your bat-computer and have your bat-credit card handy. We'll see you at the show.

Webcomics Round-Up: Sorcery 101

I had the fortune yesterday of stumbling upon a webcomic series that appeals to my fandom of the supernatural. Sorcery 101 by Kel McDonald is a sharp, funny, and well-drawn series. From the website:
Sorcery 101 follows the adventures of Danny Gunn, a chainsmoker who is trying to learn sorcery. After he finishes up are his day job as a highschool history teacher, Danny visits Pat, an angsty vampire, who has been forced into instructing Dannys magic lessons by Seth, an old sophopathic vampire whom Dannys life is magically bond to. Between this and helping his geeky werewolf friend Brad and his mage friend Ally take care of their daughter Rebecca, Danny has his hands full.
The series updates every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. There are also other comics featured on the sight if a bit of magic isn't your cup of tea.

Video: "I'm Superman, Idiot!'
Chris R. Notarile is by far my favorite fan film creator. His costuming skills and penchant for comedy writing amuses me. Plus, the things he can do on a budget...!
Anyway, this video deals with the stupidity of Lois Lane as she was portrayed in the show Smallville. I think the actress hits the style of acting dead-on, myself. Enjoy!
