Broken Frontier

This is kind of a long story, but what you basically need to understand is that sexually, India is a little…repressed. You know all those ‘Bollywood’ movies where there’s huge, elaborate dance sequences? That’s basically the equivalent of a steamy sex scene or a soapy cheerleader car wash in a teen sex comedy for them. It’s hot enough in Indian media for a male and female character to hold hands, let alone–gasp!–kiss! Porn is actually ILLEGAL in India, can you believe it? How do those poor Indian teenage boys even survive?

Well, two intrepid comics creators have decided to take a stand and do something about the lack of sexy female characters in Indian media. They’ve created "Savita Bhabhi", and she’s here to pitch a tent in your dhoti.

Here’s what the comic’s creator, Deshmukh, has to say:

“[A] bhabhi is the Indian version of a MILF,” ex plained Deshmukh, who came up with the idea for the comic while boozing it up with fellow Indian exiles in the U.S. “Though in literal terms it means your “brother’s wife” — that is not the meaning here. For an Indian youngster his first fantasy is normally the newly married hot woman in the neighborhood who is referred to as a hot Bhabhi. Hence it seemed only natural that our hot heroine whom the entire neighborhood lusts after be called Savita Bhabhi.”

And it’s not just that it’s a sensation in India for being sexy–it’s also awesome that its fans contribute to the comic by having their sexual fantasies adapted into new issues!
