Last month legendary artist Johnny Hicklenton passed away. Hicklenton was a legendary british creator known for his extremely detailed linework coupled with an insight into the dark side of human nature that makes it seem as if all your subconscious networks of neural interfaces are brought to life on the page in the guise of a drawing.
Hicklenton rose to fame on 2000 AD's Judge Dredd character and this led to an immensely popular run on Nemesis the Warlock.
He also suffered from multiple sclerosis and recorded a documentary about living with this condition while being an artist. You can see trailer at the site of Here's Johnny and there's also the chance to buy Limited Edition art prints by Hicklenton.
