If you picked up this week’s Witchblade #151, you must’ve noticed there’s something different about the book. For starters, it’s the first issue of the new creative team of Tim Seeley, Diego Bernard and Fred Benes. Secondly, it marks the debut of the new trade dress and cover designs you’ll now see on all Top Cow Universe REBIRTH titles.

Next to Witchblade, new issues of both Artifacts (as of #14) and The Darkness (as of #101) will feature gorgeous wraparound covers month in month out. Says Top Cow publisher Filip Sablik, “It's a unique look that will hopefully help our books stand out on the comic shop shelves.” Here's a look at the Witchblade #151 wraparounds in all their beauty, including an exclusive look at the finished cover art for Witchblade #152 by John Tyler Christopher.

Look for an interview with Sablik on all things Top Cow next week, as well as an Inside Look with writer Tim Seeley on his debut issue in which he will not only highlight some of the must-see moments of Witchblade #151, but also hint at where he’s taking Sara Pezzini next.

I hope this is going to be new trend among all comic publishers, because there's so much you can do with amazing art. I've started with finding and printing minimalistic cover art for my collection of games, that also wrap around mind you, so that they look beautiful when you pick them up.

The fact that you're not confined to one page could also lead to some more beautiful art.
