At long last, Harry Plinkett of Red Letter Media has reviewed the third installment of the Star Wars prequels, Revenge of the Sith, and I can’t be more excited.

For anyone who doesn’t know, Harry Plinkett is the quintessential fanboy: he loves all things nerd, speaks with an adorable speech impediment, and has been known to bury a prostitute under his house a time or two.

He’s also a venomous critic of the Star Wars prequels, and has been reviewing them since 2009. His reviews of The Phantom Menace and Attack of the Clones are so funny they’ve left my sides hurting. And their replay value is unbelievable—I’ve watched them both multiple times. Talk about the ultimate pick-me-up.

His reviews come in the form of video essays, and are some of the best criticism of film I’ve enjoyed in years. In addition to Star Wars, he’s an adamant lover of the Star Trek franchise and has an irritating itch called Baby’s Day Out that he has yet to reach for a good scratch.

To enjoy the new Revenge of the Sith review (which clocks in at almost two hours), along with all of the others in his collection, please visit the Red Letter Media website at: www.redlettermedia.com.

And I’d be remiss not to mention that Harry Plinkett isn’t the only vocal critic of the new trilogy. Tony Pacitti, author of My Best Friend is a Wookiee, also wrote about what a disappointing train wreck the three films were. I both reviewed Pacitti's book and interviewed him for the site.

Here is the official announcement on YouTube to whet your appetite:
