Star Wars Goes Kurosawa with Samurai Wars
Blog entry
Fetababe, Han Dokuen, Obu Wankabe, Sora Hokosusha, Daku Joutei, Princess Layu; do these names sound familiar? They should because they are the Star Wars Samurai Wars custom figures. In the words of the artist:
Samurai Wars is a line of custom figures that imagines what a Star Wars movie directed by Akira Kurosawa would look like. George Lucas has said what a fan he is off Kurosawa and also the influence that Kurosawa's "The Hidden Fortress" had on Star Wars.
