Artist extraordinaire Chris Weston apparantly found himself with some free time waiting for scripts from Strazcynski's The Twelve and put his artist pen aside for his writing pen. He mentions on his blog his return to the Hallowed Hals of Tharg in 2000 AD's Tharg's Terror Tale. His scintillating scribbles will bear the title "Count As One Choice" and will see publication in Prog 1645. Can't wait to see it!
Chris Weston is an underused British artist who employs an uber detailed highly figurative art style and is an expert brush ninja. In American comics he is mostly utilised as a fill in artist or for one shots. He is currently serialising the trials and tribulations of the Marvel silver age heroes in The Twelve. High points of Weston in American comics are The Filth and The Invisibles volume 2, both with Grant Morrison. Chris Weston also has a mad imagination running loose in his head. I would lock him in the cellar, feed him bread crumbs and make him draw all the time. For more bread crumbs!
