Aug 31, 2010 at 9:18amSomething clearly didn't pan out with the structuring of the WOLVERINE books over the last couple of years I agree. I could certainly live with less Logan in the team books (how many X-MEN/X-FORCE/AVENGERS teams is he on now?) and perhaps this overexposure has had a knock-on effect. Jason Aaron's WEAPON X was a criminally-neglected book though and I wouldn't agree that it felt way out of continuity - the final Deathlok story arc/Terminator homage was absolutely enmeshed in Marvel history and full of guest-stars.

Aug 26, 2010 at 9:59pmAh yes... Starman's The Shade would, of course, make a lot more sense.

Aug 25, 2010 at 9:31amJames Robinson and Jill Thompson on SHADE THE CHANGING MAN? Very intriguing. Does that mean that Ditko's original creation, rather than the (pre)-Vertigo reinterpretation, is about to return to the DCU? Hmmm...

Andy Oliver has commented on a column: Up In the Air
Aug 18, 2010 at 9:04amThis "reappropriation" of characters does seem kind of arbitrary. Much as I would like it I don't think we will ever see John Constantine as part of the DCU ever again and HOUSE OF MYSTERY isn't going anywhere either.

Aug 14, 2010 at 8:42amI loved this strip as a kid. It has links to Judge Dredd's continuity and is a great deal of fun. We had a plethora of sports-based strips in the UK at the time in the pages of TIGER, ROY OF THE ROVERS and the DC Thomson weeklies so this violent, futuristic take was something of a novelty.

Aug 13, 2010 at 9:07amLokks like Eric Masterson's son as well (rather than a resurrection) which would tie in with the MC2 version of Thunderstrike.
