Apr 25, 2012 at 3:29amThe Maxx was a really original voice in those early Image days and reflects best the diversity Image Comics is known for today. While I thought the first 6 issues were really strong, The Maxx did tend to waver on a bit, getting lost in inconsequential storylines that took away a bit of the focus of the main premisse. But all in all, a very good series by a - especially in those days - unique creator.
