Eric Lindberg has commented on a review: King Conan: The Phoenix on the Sword #1
Feb 2, 2012 at 10:20pmJust got a chance to read this. I enjoyed it more than you did, Chad, but I've been a fan of Conan for a while. Bear in mind that this miniseries is based on the first Conan story ever published so it will have a distinct sound to it. I personally enjoy the grandiose, pulp-y style of Conan's world but I suppose it's not for everyone.

Eric Lindberg has commented on a lowdown: The Best Superhero Movies Ever: Where Do Thor, Cap, X-Men, and Green Lantern Rank?
Dec 30, 2011 at 1:44amYour ranking of this year's films is pretty fair. I personally liked Captain America the best. First Class was indeed awesome, Thor was fun, and GL, as Richard said, was trying to do too much. I disagree with where you place some of the movies of past years though. I thought Hellboy was much better than Daredevil (which I found kind of mediocre). I enjoyed Hulk, though it's not a favorite. But where we really have a difference of opinion...League of Extraordinary Gentlemen on the "Good" list? There is nothing good about that abomination.

Eric Lindberg has commented on a lowdown: Green Lantern Movie Review: Comic Wonder on the Silver Screen?
Jun 21, 2011 at 12:51amCritics seem to hate this movie but I enjoyed it. I did feel that the pacing was a bit disjointed and ADD at times. Too much jumping between scenes of Earth, Oa, Hal, Hector, the government, etc. I also wanted to see more of the Corps. But otherwise, I thought it was very enjoyable. Reynolds was better than I was expecting, Mark Strong was amazing (if underused), Peter Sarsgaard was creepy as heck, the special effects and alien designs looked awesome, and it was overall a fun superhero adventure film. Not perfect but fun.
