I'm based in Belgium, the land of beer, chocolates and the largest amount of comics people per capita. 99% of those comics people work on French/Belgian Bandes Dessinées (BD), but I happened to be among that 1% that loves US comics more - kind of like a young, but much skinnier Obelix who fell into a cauldron of magic potion not destined for him. I've never regretted the occurence, but when I was a wee little lad, my parents weren't always too happy seeing me spend all my money on comics.
