    I'm surprised there's never been a successful ongoing Joker series apart from minis or ogns. Actually, I'd love to see some minis of the various Batman villains Morrison has introduced since Batman #666 or at least some extensive character bibles Morrison created for them.

    I really like Irving's ability to capture the essential Joker features and characteristics that have come to be the 'Iconic Joker.' He makes it his own character while still honoring the original Jerry Robinson creation as well as the stamp artists like Neal Adams and others have put on him.

    Although it's been an agonizing two months since the release of Batman and Robin #13, writer Grant Morrison and artist Frazer Irving have shown audiences that it was well worth the wait.

    Mack has demonstrated his strengths at character development and creative plot construction, so it should be quite fascinating to see what he has in store for both Scorpius and the entire Farscape universe.
