    I first heard about Image Comcis when I was flipping through an issue of Comic Shop News in 1990. I was 12, on my way to 13, and I'd been reading comics for at least 7 years by the point. I'd begun my decent into comic fandom as a Marvel Zombie, and some dabbling in DC.
