11th Big Apple Con Kicks off this Weekend

The 11th Annual 2007 National Big Apple Comic Book, Art, Toy and Sci-Fi convention opens its doors Nov. 16-18 at the Penn Plaza Pavilion, with Hayden Panettiere (Heroes) and Kristen Bell (Veronica Mars, Heroes) headlining this year?s show.

Broken Frontier will deliver a feature on Jim Steranko, (Nick Fury, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D) who hosts a four-hour Mastering Narrative Technique Seminar on Sunday. Steranko, known for his groundbreaking work in comics also served as conceptual artist on Raiders of the Lost Arc and Bram Stoker?s Dracula.

Other notable guests include: Neal Adams, Carmine Infantino, John Romita Sr., Adam Hughes, Alex Maleev, Danny Fingeroth, Jimmy Palmiotti, Mark Evanier and Tim Sale.

The Penn Plaza Pavilion is located on 401 7th Avenue on 33rd Street across from Madison Square Garden. Doors open Friday from 1-8pm, Saturday and Sunday 10am-7pm.
