300 on HD DVD and Blu-Ray in July

Warner Home Video will bring Zack Snyder and Frank Miller's 300 to Blu-ray and HD DVD this July. WHV has a Blu-ray and a HD DVD version in the works, both set for a July 31 release and featuring lots of specs and over 90 minutes of bonus material, including audio commentary with director Zack Snyder and the filmmakers, multiple featurettes and more.

When it comes to bonus features though, the HD edition has an advantage over the Blu-ray version, as it will be the only one to include the "Vengeance & Valor" interactive game and a picture-in-picture video commentary.

The HD version is a little more expensive at $39.95, while the Blu-ray version comes in at $34.95

Things become a bit more lopsided as we move into the high-def exclusive features, with only the HD DVD edition (not the Blu-ray) also boasting , plus

Retail will be $39.95 for the HD DVD combo, and $34.95 for the Blu-ray.
