Over the course of the day, DC's official blog, The Source, has been releasing details on what fans can expect in the post-Blackest Night DC Universe. Naturally, following the Blackest Night comes The Brightest Day.
First off, DC will be launching Brightest Day, a 26-part bi-weekly series beginning with a #0 issue in April 2010. Geoff Johns and Peter Tomasi will script the series, in addition to carrying on with their current titles, Green Lantern and Green Lantern Corps (both of which will be carrying a Brightest Day banner). New DC exclusive talent, David Finch, will be the cover artist for Brightest Day.
Brightest Day will also serve as the springboard for Johns and Francis Manapul to launch the new Barry Allen Flash series (also carrying the Brightest Day dress and debuting in April)
Next, Brightest Day will launch a new era for Titans - with Eric Wallace and Fabrizio Fiorentino (the creative team of Ink) starting with a one-shot, Titans: Villains For Hire Special. The new Titans team will be led by Deathstroke and features the Tattooed Man and Cheshire.
Justice League of America #44 will also connect to Brightest Day and will have "characters joining the team [that] are still very much under wraps."
DC Has promised more Brightest Day news to be unveiled every day this week at The Source.
