This April, Viper Comics will release their very first original graphic novel, THE EXPENDABLE ONE by Jason Burns and Bryan Baugh.
Viper President Jessie Garza is excited to watch the company take this step, “We’re really excited and can’t wait to publish the book, Jason and Bryan have just done a superb job with the book.”
“I feel good about The Expendable One finding an audience, and I have to say, I can’t be more thankful to Viper Comics for giving the book a shot at being their first graphic novel,” writer Jason Burns states. “There’s some pressure there to succeed, but thankfully, the guys at Viper agreed to only remove one of my hands if the book is a horrible failure. I can live with that. Who needs two hands?”
THE EXPENDABLE ONE is the story of Twigs Dupree who recently acquired the gift of immortality and has chosen to play hero. Shoot him in the head and he’ll keep walking. Strangle him with a wire and he’ll keep talking. Send him up against a killer that views entrails as Christmas tinsel and for the first time since he got his powers, Twigs will wish he were dead.
