Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter in Guilty Pleasures #1 2nd Printing has sold out at Diamond, pushing the sales of the first issue of this buzz-worthy series by New York Times-best selling author Laurell K. Hamilton well over 60,000 copies!
The Anita Blake series of novels by Hamilton has sold over 3 million copies and amassed a dedicated group of fans. Now, the vampire hunter is staking her claim in the world of comics with Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter in Guilty Pleasures quickly rising up the sales charts.
The second issue of Anita Blake has also enjoyed a sellout and a red-hot second printing and the third issue is close to selling out itself.
Both Anita fans and comics fans have been loving the series, garnering a wealth of critical praise along the way.
The sold out first printing of Anita Blake #1 was listed in Comic Buyer’s Guide in their "Dozens to Dig For."
Plus, Michael Bailey of SilverBulletComicBooks.com calls Anita Blake, Vampire Hunter in Guilty Pleasures #1 “a solid read” and said “Stacie Ritchie has taken the prose of Laurell K. Hamilton and translated it to near perfection on the comic book page.”
Marvel and the Dabel Brothers have no plans at this time to go back to press again on Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter in Guilty Pleasures #1. Also note, copies of Anita Blake: Vampire Hunter in Guilty Pleasures #1 2nd Printing may still be available at the retailer level.
