Ape Entertainment is celebrating its first year of existence in style this February with the release of their sixth book, A DIFFERENT PACE, a new science fiction/adventure graphic novel by David Hedgecock and Tetsu Liew.

A DIFFERENT PACE follows the exploits of the lovely Lily and her faithful crew of rag-tag space pirates as they scour the galaxy in search of ancient treasure and grand adventure. Join Lily, Buford, Michael, and Smoking Frog as they foil nefarious political plots, plunge to the depths of Atlantis-7, and get into a bar brawl with an alien horned toad! A DIFFERENT PACE is a 96-page graphic novel written by David Hedgecock with interior art by Tetsu Liew & Vincent Ramirez and a cover by Leanne Buckley.

“It was important to me that the four stories in this book all be self-contained,” states Hedgecock. “Tetsu and I have plans for many more stories well under way but I wanted this first book to be a satisfying introduction to Lily’s world without forcing the reader to buy more books down the road.”
