Ard Fleis Comics is the creation of the indie comic book artist Geoff Mosse and are thrilled to present their first book, The Murder Road, published as a single issue with 2 stories in black and white art , recently featured on the Artist First Radio Network. Each Ard Fleis publication will feature a 22-56 page crime story with a 6 page back up story and a critical essay on a Noir film, book, or comic.
The Murder Road features a story written and illustrated by Geoff Mosse about a bouncer named Daz who has been informed by his boss Cole, the bar manager, that he is being ousted from his position. When the opportunity presents itself, will Daz be able to committ murder? The second story is written by Geoff Mosse with art by Matt Walters. It is the true story of a U.S. Army Ranger in World War II who stormed Omaha Beach on D-Day. Also included is an essay by Geoff Mosse on the classic Humphrey Bogart film In A Lonely Place.
“Ard Fleis Comics offers some of the best crime comics being produced today. Our back up stories will always provide the taste of a different genre, be it war, horror, romance; you name it. And because we know that especially now people crave content for the money they are spending, we also offer an essay on various subjects.” commented Ard Fleis founder, writer, and artist Geoff Mosse.
