Due to the overwhelmingly positive response to the debut of Lady Mechanika #0, and the anticipated similar reaction for the upcoming release of Lady Mechanika #1, Aspen has announced it’s latest plans for their early December Lady Mechanika in-store dates.

Lady Mechanika is the creation of superstar artist Joe Benitez, who is also handling writing duties for the entire six-issue run of the book. Master Aspen colorist Peter Steigerwald is providing colors for the new Aspen series. The team has combined to bring to life an all-new world of steampunk adventure and thrilling mystery in an intense action-packed story.

In order to meet fan and retailer demand for Lady Mechanika #0, which has sold out through both its first and second printings, Aspen will be releasing the Lady Mechanika #0 third printing edition this Wednesday, December 1st. The 3rd printing features an altered line-art cover by the series team of Benitez and Steigerwald. Aspen also encourages fans to check with their local retailer for available copies of the Lady Mechanika #0 first and second printings, which may still be available at the retail level.

Aspen will then immediately follow the release of the zero issue third printing with the launch of the highly anticipated Lady Mechanika #1 on Wednesday, December 8th. This planned release schedule should assist in allowing retailers time to adjust their issue #1 orders accordingly to help meet buyer demand. Lady Mechanika #1 features covers by Benitez and Steigerwald, and superstar artist J. Scott Campbell with Steigerwald. Aspen will also be releasing two variant retailer incentive covers based off the aforementioned covers. As well, UniversalOutpost.com will feature a special alternate Lady Mechanika #1 cover, limited to 750 copies, with a brand new cover by Benitez and Steigerwald.
