Following the success of Rombies #0, Gestalt Publishing wants you to be a zombie!
Rome was big. Very big. Populating it (and depopulating it in Zombie form) in a comic is a huge task. So the Rombies creative team of Tom Taylor & Skye Ogden want real people to walk (and shamble) through Rome’s streets.
Gestalt have set up a Be a Rombies Extra Facebook page. Here’s the deal: post a photo of yourself as a Zombie or Citizen (or both) for a chance for your likeness to appear in the upcoming Rombies comic series from Gestalt, written by Tom Taylor (Star Wars/The Authority) & illustrated by Skye Ogden (Vowels)
Follow the links from www.rombies.com or go directly to Facebook "Be A Rombies Extra".
Tom Taylor is a multi-award-winning playwright whose comedy, drama and musical works have been produced across four continents. To date his most well-known comics work has been for The Authority, Star Wars: Invasion (which was nominated for a 2009 Diamond Gem award), and the adaptation of his play, The Example, for Gestalt Publishing. Tom currently resides in Melbourne.
Tokyo based Skye Ogden is the author of Vowels, a critically acclaimed wordless graphic novel, and the art director of Gestalt Publishing. Skye has produced many and varied works within the comics field including Rombies, Vowels, ‘Toy’, ‘Memento Mori’, and an adaptation of ‘Daemon Street Ghost-Trap’ with International Horror Guild award winner Terry Dowling.
Rombies #0 is distributed by Diamond in the USA with an RRP of $2.95
