Broken Frontier starts 2006 with a bang! Today, the comic book website announces its third annual Broken Frontier Awards, honoring the best comics and creative talents of the past year as voted by the BF staff.
The Broken Frontier Awards are divided in two major categories, the Creator Awards and the Paper Screen Gem Awards, dedicated to the best industry professionals and the top comic books respectively.
In December, BF staffers sent in their nominations for eighteen different award categories, after which a list of four nominations for each category was formed. The staffers then picked their favorites to decide the final outcome of the voting process. Site founder and Editor-in-Chief Frederik Hautain collected and counted all nominations and votes.
