For the duration of Marvel Comics’ instant-epic event, Broken Frontier is bringing you Civil War coverage unlike anywhere else on the web. Next to interviews with the people who create the event, among which a monthly Q&A session with editor Tom Brevoort, BF presents ‘Warring Sides’, a series of articles that shows how it’s not only the Marvel Universe that stands divided on the issue of Superhero Registration—Civil War #1 caused a rift among the Broken Frontier staff as well.
In each ‘Warring Sides’ article, a BF staffer leaves the real world to jump into the realm of fiction and take a seat at the Daily Bugle editorial. As the Bugle’s heroic fiction critics, they take a stand in favor of or against the plans of the American government. The ‘pro’ side is spearheaded by Dexter K. Flowers, while the ‘against’ side is led by J.P. Dorigo.
Both gentlemen, our very own Iron Man and Captain America if you will, already fired the opening shots last week:
- WARRING SIDES: Let Them Have It
- WARRING SIDES: Heroes Are People, Too
The lines have been drawn, the gloves are off. From here on out, it’s anyone’s guess how things will play out.
If you want to go to battle with either side, pick your poison, add one of the following nifty banners to your signatures (right-click to download) and come share your thoughts on the event in our Warring Sides thread!
