Blake Lively Set to Join "Green Lantern"

Variety reports that actress Blake Lively has won the role of Carol Ferris in Warner Bros.' upcoming Green Lantern. Lively joins Ryan Renolds who has already been cast in the role of Hal Jordan.
The Martin Campbell (Casino Royale, The Mask of Zorro) helmed film will start shooting in March with a projected release date of June 17, 2011.
Lively is best known for her roles in TV's Gossip Girl and the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants films.
