Boundless Comics announces their Lady Death title hitting #3 in March 2011.
Boundless Comics proudly announces the March release of LADY DEATH #3, continuing the groundbreaking and Earth-spanning storyline that redefines its titular character. Co-written by Brian Pulido and Mike Wolfer, the latest issue features the dazzling artwork of Marcelo Mueller and a worldwide quest for vengeance and power.
The first story arc of the new LADY DEATH series sees the otherworldly heroine transformed into a mortal thief named Illadra. Though initially an amnesiac, she slowly unravels the mystery of her true identity and embarks on a global hunt to reclaim her former glory. In this latest chapter, forces beyond Iladra’s understanding lure her to the darkest jungles of Asia. But before she can get there, she must face corrupted mutineers on the high seas… and even if she should survive, she must face the vicious Fung Wei and his demonic Black Ghost Guards.

The bold new direction of Boundless Comics’ cornerstone title began with the release of LADY DEATH PREMIERE in October, which introduced the new villainess, Death Queen, and thrust Lady Death back to Earth in mortal form. The story arc continued in LADY DEATH #0, released early in December, featuring her first appearance as Illadra and launching the monthly series. For the first time since her debut in 1991, this controversial story arc redefines the character for a new generation of readers, as scripted by both original creator Pulido and acclaimed writer Wolfer (Gravel, Night of the Living Dead).
Created by indie press icon William Christensen in 2010, Boundless Comics publishes high-quality, action-oriented comics, as exemplified by its initial release, LADY DEATH by Brian Pulido and Mike Wolfer.
