Capcom and UDON join forces to bring fans an exciting summer convention experience at Comic-con International, the largest pop culture event in North America, July 13-17 in San Diego. 

The companies are proud to announce that legendary Capcom artists Shinkiro and Ikeno, artists behind such games as Street Fighter: Third Strike and Capcom Fighting Evolutions, will attend Comic-con for the very first time to sign autographs and meet the fans.   In addition, Capcom will showcase upcoming games with demos for fans to experience first hand, while UDON will display artwork from their popular Capcom comic book product line.  A selection of special edition convention-exclusive products will also be available for purchase at the Capcom/UDON booth including a Street Fighter Eternal Challenge hard cover edition book, a Street Fighterä Shin Akuma Collectors Bust and a Mega Man Limited Edition Action Figure.  

The Street Fighter Eternal Challenge hard cover edition commemorates Shinkiro and Ikeno’s first US appearance by offering consumers two deluxe hard cover editions each with brand new cover artwork created by each artist.  Available only at Comic-con, each version will be limited to only 100 copies per day, with a total of 500 copies for the duration of the show.  Fans that purchase this special edition will be guaranteed to have their art book and an extra item autographed by both of the Capcom artists.

Also for purchase from UDON is a special edition Street Fighter Shin Akuma Collectors Bust.  When the obsessed Street Fighter known as “Akuma” pushes himself to the limits of his dark power, he becomes Shin Akuma, the most powerful fighter in the Street Fighter universe.  This is the first time this character will be offered in the collectors bust series and will feature a different head sculpt, paint scheme, and back engraving from the regular edition Akuma bust that will be offered through retailers later this year.  The Street Fighter Shin Akuma Collectors Bust is strictly limited to a production run of 500 copies, and only 100 copies will be available per day.

Mega Man fans will be able to purchase the Mega Man Dark Omega ZERO exclusive action figure from Jazwares, Inc. This action figure is limited to 1,000 pieces and available only at Comic-Con.

UDON creators behind the popular Capcom comics, including Alvin Lee, Omar Dogan, Noi Sackda, Ken Siu-Chong, Gary Yeung, and many more will also be available to meet the fans. Back issues of UDON’s popular Street Fighter and Darkstalkersä comic, posters and lithographs will be available for sale.

Raffle tickets will be given away with purchase for a chance to win a set of Street Fighter Controllers and Limited Edition Street Fighter Arcade Sticks from NubyTech, a leading manufacturer and designer of video game accessories for major gaming systems.
