Broken Frontier

Checker Book Publishing Group and Walt Disney Publishing have announced a licensing agreement under which Checker will reprint original Crossgen Comics Company material in a total of 9 trade paperback collected editions. The books will be introduced in a series of monthly PREVIEWS solicitations beginning with items shipping in February 2007.

Crossgen exploded onto comic shop shelves quickly garnering as a high as a third place market share amongst a cutthroat market and gained critical acclaim by nearly sweeping the Harvey nominations in its first year. Checker will release uncollected issues of these Crossgen titles - Sojourn (two volumes), Negation (two volumes), The Way of the Rat, Sigil, The Path, and Scion (two volumes). All these collections will be published in a high quality glossy format using the original Crossgen digital files.
