It’s all on the line as one of the Battle Corp Delta falls in this second and final issue of the two-part mini-series.
Following the success of the first issue, Dark 48 #2 brings the action to an intense climax in this finale as the all female team Battle Corp Delta discovers a male unaffected by the virus that sent every other male in the lower 48 states of America into a frenzied, primeval rage. Now they have to rescue him, but first they must face the unexpected.
“Battle Corp Delta has their hands full this issue. They found an unaffected male…which is great, but now the hard part is getting him out of there alive. Out in the open it’s a bit easier to fend off attacks by the crazies…inside a dark hospital, that’s another story.”
Steven O’Connell – Creator/Writer
Bursting with intense action, drama and chills, Dark 48 is the next step in the evolution of science fiction/horror. Don’t miss out on the adventure.
Written by Steven O’Connell (Bloodrayne) with art by Daniel Indro and colors by Joel Seguin, Dark 48 #2 from Digital Webbing hits comic stores everywhere Wednesday, March 26, 2008.
Praise and accolades for Dark 48#1:
“…an incredibly solid first issue.”
John Mayo, Comic Book Page Podcast
“With just a two issue run, this is a short, punchy series that works like the female commandos it follows; hitting hard and fast and getting out with the job done clean, well and professionally. A very pleasant surprise.”
4 Stars - Alasdair Stuart, Firefox News
“…[Daniel] Indro does a great job, giving us atmosphere that is dark and gloomy and lead characters who are simply, but effectively, women.”
4 out of 5 – Micheal P. Jessop, Independent Comics Site
