Dark Horse has provided BF with information on all their exciting newly announced projects.
David Lapham takes the reigns of Robert E. Howard’s Kull with The Hate Witch!
Critically acclaimed comics scribe David Lapham (Stray Bullets) pens the next adventure of the great barbarian King Kull!
The stoic Kull presides over a nation on the edge of revolution. Enter the Hate Witch—an ancient enemy eager to use Kull to destroy the great City of Valusia and with it, the whole of humanity. After a string of murders, the city’s noblemen look to over throw the King and force Kull to return to the land of his exile—Atlantis.
Gabriel Guzman (Predators) illustrates this epic tale that tests King Kull's true stamina as ruler of all of Valusia, and reintroduces readers to Brule, Tu and Queen Igraine.
Solomon Kane’s crusade continues with new writer Bruce Jones!
The ongoing saga of Robert E. Howard’s puritan adventurer continues with a third installment of Dark Horse’s new series of comics chronicling Kane’s travels. Written by masterful comics scribe Bruce Jones (The Incredible Hulk, The War That Time Forgot), interior art will be handled by Rahsan Ekedal (Creepy, The Cleaners) with popular fantasy book artist Gregory Manchess and Eisner Award-winning B.P.R.D. stalwart Guy Davis sharing cover duties on the four-issue mini. Each issue will feature a painted cover by Manchess and a line art cover by Guy Davis with Dave Stewart will tackle colors on both.
Dark Horse delivers a new title of thrilling adventure: Robert E. Howard’s Savage Sword!
Continuing in the tradition of bringing Robert E. Howard’s incomparable prose to comic book form, Dark Horse Comics is set to showcase even more of the writer’s legendary work with Robert E. Howard’s Savage Sword. Beginning in December, this 80-page perfect bound series will feature the exploits of well-known heroes like Conan and Solomon Kane while also aiming a well-deserved and long-overdue spotlight on some of Howard’s more obscure but no less exciting characters, including Dark Agnes, El Borak, Bran Mak Morn and Sailor Steve Costigan. While Savage Sword will premiere all new comic tales featuring Howard’s creations, it will also feature recolored reprint material as well as plenty of bonus content. A can’t-miss item for fans of action and adventure!
