Famed toy and statue sculptor Jerry Macaluso of PopCultureShock, and founder of Sota Toys, is bringing Randy Queen's fan favorite Darkchylde character to life in three dimensions!
Darkchylde is the story of Ariel Chylde, a cursed southern teen who can become any of the creatures from her many recurring nightmares.
And while the character has been realized in toys, mini busts, lunchboxes, trading cards, apparel, skateboards, and comics around the world, a full figure statue has remained elusive until now.
"Hands down the most requested item over the years has been to see Ariel realized as a full figure statue. So it is with great joy that such a talent as Jerry is finally making this available to fans in a limited run."
This fully painted piece of art catches Ariel in a moment of stirring contemplation in one of her many nightmares, bought to life with a horrific diorama base, and an immaculate attention to beauty and detail.
Randy Queen's "Darkchylde: Beautiful Dreamer" will be available in 2010.

Line art as seen above is listed as "Art not final".
