On the heels on the overwhelmingly positive reaction for their new series Dead Man’s Run at last weekend’s New York Comic Con, Aspen Comics, in association with legendary film producer Gale Anne Hurd’s Valhalla Entertainment, is planning to release the supernatural action adventure series one week early on October 26th. Aspen Comics describes the all-new property written by acclaimed comic book scribe Greg Pak with art by Tony Parker:
In a future where hell exists as an underground prison for the reanimated dead, a young man named Sam Tinker enlists a team of the damned to escape and save his innocent sister. It’s a prison break from hell. Literally.
Dead Man’s Run #0 features a brand new 12-page story by Pak and Parker which leads into January’s premiere of Dead Man’s Run #1. The zero issue also contains a special concept design and sketches section and features covers by Parker and Peter Steigerwald and Micah Gunnell and Steigerwald. Due to the positive initial response for Dead Man’s Run, Aspen encourages fans to check with their local retailer to ensure they get their copy of Dead Man’s Run #0, as it is expected sell out of its initial print run. Fans can check with their local retailer and order their copies using the following SKU info:
DEAD MANS RUN #0 $2.50 CVR A PARKER SEP110784
DEAD MANS RUN #0 $2.50 CVR B GUNNELL SEP110785
