Devil’s Due Publishing (DDP) is proud to announce its upcoming adaptation of Margaret Weis’s and Tracy Hickman’s classic Dragonlance® trilogy that launched a worldwide phenomenon, The Dragonlance Chronicles.

“Who didn’t grow up on this series?” asked Andrew Dabb, writer of the adaptation. “This trilogy by Weis and Hickman is the grail of fantasy fans everywhere. The following this series has had is amazing. It brought in a whole new group of fantasy readers and is as good now as it was 20 years ago. I’m excited to have a hand in re-telling the story.”Margaret Weis, a New York Times best-selling author, said, "It's been over 20 years since the first Dragonlance Chronicles novels were released and they've never really been done in comic book form. We've all been waiting for this! I'm really impressed with Devil's Due and the quality of their artwork and storytelling. This is going to be a great project. I am so excited!"
Weis and Hickman tell of the world of Krynn. As dark forces marshal their growing strength, fear and fanaticism grip the land. With war on the horizon, a group of lifelong friends are reunited---a Knight, a retired Dwarven metalsmith, a half-elf, two barbarians, a gold-skinned mage along with his twin warrior, and a kinder---all outcasts in their own way. It will fall to these eight companions to prevent a cataclysm as the eternal struggle between light and darkness rages.
Dragonlance Chronicles: Dragons of Autumn Twilight #1 (of 8) ships monthly beginning in August; each issue is $2.95 (MSRP).
