Dynamite Launches Galactica On Her First Mission

Dynamite Entertainment today released images and information announcing the second issue of their all-new SCI-FI seriesNew Battlestar Galactica: Season Zero. Dynamite's new Battlestar series made its debut in May with issue #0 as part of the Dynamite Free Comic Book Day Comic Flip Book (with all new story and art, and read by over 100,000 fans), and continues with the July #1 issue the August release of New Battlestar Galactica #2.

Dynamite's new Battlestar series is written by Brandon (NBSG: Zarek) Jerwa with art by new series artist Jackson Herbert, and will be available with covers by Stjepan Sejic, Adriano Batista, Stephen Segovia, and a photo cover. Also, Battlestar fans should ask their retailer about the special "Cylon Silver Foil" edition of New Battlestar Galactica: Seaon Zero #2.

Season Zero will serve as a prequel to the hit SCI FI television show with a story that takes place two years prior to the television mini-series (2003) that re-imagined Battlestar Galactica. This brand-new comic book series features the very first missions of the Battlestar Galactica and her crew, including Commander Adama, Starbuck, Apollo, and more. In these early days of the Galactica under Adama's command, a mystery is unfolding across the Galaxy that has deadly implications for the human race!
