Broken Frontier

CAT. 5 creator, SEBASTIAN PICCIONE (writer) and hot newcomer, JOE KUZMA (art) are gearing up to launch a new 2 issue mini with EARTHBOUND COMICS. The book is called ALLIED FORCES, and it's about a team of WWII superheroes who go on a mission into Warsaw, Poland, during 1939 to extract the Polish Super Hero, Orzel Bialy.

Here's what Sebastian had to say about the book, and it's kickstarter project, launched to help raise the funds for printing, coloring, and a cover by hot Cross-Gen, Marvel, DC, and Darkhorse, artist, KARL MOLINE.

Unlike other WWII era super-teams, this one is comprised of a group of (mostly) European heroes, rather than the usual 6 Americans and 2 Brits. We have ORZEL BIALY (Poland), THE GREAT BRITON (England), LE COQ GAULOIS (France), THE DOOMSTER (Scotland), THE RED ENSIGN (Canada), and THE BOMBER (Australia). Six "Progressive Humans" versus the German army, and the deadly Nazi super, DER WEHRMACHT ADLER.

I came up with the script, concept, and characters (Except the Doomster, he's all Vinny P. Bartilucci!), my friend, Joe Kuzma is handling the art, and our cover will be done by Karl Moline, a friend and pro, who has worked for Marvel, DC, Dark Horse, and Cross Gen comics.

Each project, like ALLIED FORCES, sets an amount of money and an amount of time. People can then pledge in incriments of their choosing. No money changes hands unless the project meets it financial goal by its deadline.
