Ebas Signs Top Cow Exclusive

Artist Eric Basaldua (The Magdalena, Tomb Raider, Darkness/Vampirella, Blood Legacy: The Young Ones) has signed a three-year exclusive contract to work for Top Cow Productions. His first project under the new exclusive will be April’s Darkness/Vampirella crossover. Future projects will be announced shortly.
Eric, known to many simply as “Ebas,” started working at Top Cow in 2000 under the direct tutelage of Top Cow founder and artist Marc Silvestri . “Getting the chance to work side by side with Silvestri and other artists in ‘the pit’ here at the studio is just a great opportunity for me,” said Basaldua. “I love working with Marc and I continue to learn from him every day. It’s an incredible opportunity, and it’s nice to know I have a home.”
“Eric Basaldua is one of the brightest talents on the artistic horizon today,” said Top Cow Editor-In-Chief Jim McLauchlin. “We are tremendously excited to be publishing his work for the next three years, and well beyond.”
