What does any good citizen of Mystery City do on a rainy day? Put together a jigsaw puzzle, of course. Coming in August from Image Comics and Active Images is the ELEPHANTMEN: HIP FLASK jigsaw puzzle. Featuring the Eisner Award-winning work of ELEPHANTMEN cover artist Ladrönn, this thousand-piece puzzle measures 48.5 x 68 cm and retails for $24.99. Trust us: this puzzle won’t come together quickly, much like each and every lovingly crafted issue of HIP FLASK…
"You have no idea how long we’ve wanted a jigsaw puzzle,” said Richard Starkings, President & First Tiger of Active Images, "Now it’s finally coming. Next up? Hmm—how about a movie?!”
Called "Sharp, stylish and thought provoking stuff” [Jonathan P. Kuehlein, Metro News] ELEPHANTMEN, published through Image Comics, has currently released 9 issues so far, with ELEPHANTMEN: THE PILOT #9 (May, $2.99, 40 pages, Diamond Order Code: FEB071906) and ELEPHANTMEN #10 (June, $2.99, 32 pages, Diamond Order Code: APR071866) coming soon.
They were genetically engineered to be supra-human weapons of mass destruction, but ultimately dismissed collectively as Elephantmen. Hip Flask, Ebony Hide and Obadiah Horn count amongst their number; wounded animals who, despite their differences and origins, must live in the world of man.
All Active Images's books are available in all finer comic book stores.
