Hoarse and Buggy Productions and Speakeasy Comics are proud to announce the arrival of the Elk's Run Bumper Edition in Finer Comic Book Retailers on October 5th, 2005.
The story of a small town cut off from the outside world, and on the verge of self-destruction, Elk's Run has been hailed as "one series you shouldn't miss," by Ain't It Cool News, this bumper edition collects the impossible to find first three issues of the series.
Packaged with an exclusive Darwyn Cooke cover, an introduction by Steve Niles, and ten pages of bonus material, the bumper edition is $7.99 for 80 pages, and is available for reorder via Diamond Comics (Order #AUG05 3101) and direct purchase from Speakeasycomics.com.
Elk's Run is an 8 issue mini-series originally published by Hoarse and Buggy Productions (www.hoarseandbuggy.com), which has moved to Speakeasy Comics after a wide array of critical success including positive reviews in Entertainment Weekly, Variety, Aint-It-Cool-News, TheFourthRail, Vampirella, Rue Morgue, and virtually every online source.
In addition to this bumper edition, issue 4 (SEP05 3086) and issue 5 (OCT05 3177) have been solicited and are available for order.
