After last week¹s announcement of Bluewater Productions¹ biography comic books on Lady Gaga and Kristen Stewart comic books selling, Fame: Taylor Swift does the same. A second printing, with a new cover by artist Erick Adrian Marquez is already in production and will be released in October.
The comic, by Bluewater Productions, traces Swift's rise from young singer/songwriter to mega-selling recording artist. It also chronicles her unwavering commitment to pushing herself. After all, this is a performer who began writing songs at the age of 10. Just one year later, she traveled to Nashville, determined to break into the country music scene.
CW Cooke and PR McCormack teamed up to write the Swift bio comic, while artist Erick Adrian Marquez handled the art. This 32-page comic will retail for $3.99.
Readers can advance order Fame: Taylor Swift at Amazon.com http://amzn.to/aIQrSd or by calling their local comic book shop. To find a comic book store near you go to ComicShopLocator.com.
Fame offers a broad examination of strong and influential personalities who are influencing culture. In a review of the Gaga comic, the New York Times commented. "If you¹re going to start a line of biographical comic books devoted to "culturally relevant celebrities and pop-culture icons," Lady Gaga is probably a good choice to inaugurate the series." Also next month are the comic book biographies of Taylor Lautner, Justin Bieber and David Beckham. All of them are available for pre-order.
