Welcome to this special FREE COMIC BOOK DAY preview issue of LIBERTY COMICS, featuring four complete golden age adventures of the LIBERTY GIRL!

Beginning with issue #1, scheduled to go on sale in July, LIBERTY COMICS is where you'll find adventures not only of the Liberty Girl, but also of such characters as Doctor Arcane, the Golden Warrior, the savage Tigress, the original Giant, Dark Malice, Fletcher the Bowman, and other members of the legendary Vanguard of Freedom. The current plan calls for LIBERTY COMICS to be devoted entirely to tales from out of the golden age of the world of Heroic Publishing's FLARE and the LEAGUE OF CHAMPIONS. These will be stories set in that time period from the 1930s through the 1950s, revealing at last the history behind events that have been hinted at but never before seen in the pages of various Heroic Publishing titles.

LIBERTY COMICS is conceived as, and will in essence be a golden age comic book, albeit with a modern perspective. It's a companion title to LIBERTY GIRL and ANTHEM that will start out as a 52-page quarterly anthology featuring several stories in each issue, beginning in issue #1 with the origins of Liberty Girl, Giant, and the Golden Warrior. As such, it's certainly an experiment--an experiment we hope you'll find worthy of your support.
