Freshmen, the riotous college-meets-superpowers series from Top Cow Productions and co-creators Seth Green and Hugh Sterbakov, is heading back to school. Freshmen #1 sold out less than one week after hitting stores, and Top Cow has responded to overwhelming demand with Freshmen #1: Extra Credit. This second printing due in stores in mid-September will contain bonus material including character design sketches, a preview of upcoming covers, and more!
"Seth [Green] and I are thrilled that we're going back to print on Freshmen #1, because so many people have told us they weren't able to find it on the shelves,” said co-creator and writer Hugh Sterbakov. “We'd like everyone to be able to read the story for a reasonable price. We're really enjoying the feedback on the first issue, and I can't wait to hear what everybody thinks about Freshmen #2, in stores August 31."
”It's refreshing to see fans and retailers alike respond so positively to this series," said Top Cow Editor-in-Chief Jim McLauchlin. "Freshmen combines the best elements of superheroes with a great dose of comedy. We're tickled that retailers have had such great faith in the title, and we're happy to make more available to fans who may have missed out the first time."
Powered by the creative team of writer Hugh Sterbakov, co-creator Seth Green (Family Guy, Austin Powers), and penciler Leonard Kirk (JSA), the humorous tale of college-meets-superpowers is a must-read! For more information on Freshmen, please visit www.fatboughl.com or www.topcow.com.
