Mondays on Broken Frontier will never be the same! Eisner-Award nominated writer G. Willow Wilson (Air) will join the ranks of the popular comic book news site as a weekly columnist, starting on September 7. Each Monday, Wilson will treat readers with a new edition of ‘Idle Worship’, a column in which she looks at the comics and pop culture scene from her own, unique perspective.
“I was flattered when Frederik asked me to join the Broken Frontier crew, and I'm looking forward to writing with them,” Wilson says. “I used to read Warren Ellis's Come in Alone and Matt Fraction's Poplife quite a bit, and I really liked the synthesis of creator and commentator that they brought to those columns. I hope I can come up with stuff that's half as interesting. If not, I'll fake it.”
G. Willow Wilson drew critical acclaim in 2007 for her graphic novel Caïro, and today is best known for Air, the Vertigo ongoing series that was nominated for a 2009 Eisner Award for Best New Series.
