With the November release of THE GRAY AREA #3 , fan favorite John Romita, Jr. and co-writer Glen Brunswick conclude their acclaimed saga of a man torn between heaven and hell.
And this time they've brought some friends along.
An all-star pin-up gallery will grace the back pages of the book, highlighted by Romita, Jr.'s legendary father, John Romita, Sr., and three of Image Comics' founders and current partners. Artists (and friends of the creators) lending their talents to the book include:
Terry Austin
John Cassaday
Colleen Doran
Butch Guice
Erik Larsen
Jimmy Palmiotti
John Romita, Sr.
Marc Silvestri
Jim Valentino
The GRAY AREA is the story of Rudy Chance, a corrupt cop brutally executed for double-crossing a drug cartel. Instead of landing in hell, he finds himself in the Gray Area, forced to fight evil for an afterlife police force to gain his shot at redemption. In this concluding chapter, Chance has the opportunity to complete his mission on Earth, but to do so he'll first have to overcome the overpowering desire to seek revenge on his murderers.
Once again, inker extraordinaire Klaus Janson lends his ink to Romita's pencils, and Bill Crabtree provides the color.
The GRAY AREA #3 will go on sale November 10.
