Broken Frontier has got a first look at Brian Haberlin's designs and his early artwork for Spawn #166, set for a March release. Haberlin replaces current artist Philip Tan, as Erik Larsen revealed last week in his 2006 in Review interview on this website.

As Larsen stated, the move was made to allow Spawn to break free artistically from Todd McFarlane's shadow. David Hine will remain on as series writer. Hine and Tan came aboard the title as the new creative team during the fall of 2005 with Spawn #150. Incoming artist Brian Haberlin isn't a stranger to the title, as he's been the series full-time colorist since 1996 and served as penciller alongside Jay Anacleto and Lan Medina on the October 2006 one-shot Spawn: Godslayer. Philip Tan will make the move to the new upcoming Godslayer monthly, written by Brian Holgiun.
