The Harvey Awards Final Ballot Deadline is Friday, July 28th. Ballots are still available at www.harveyawards.org and can be submitted via ground mail or electronically. Ballots must arrive by midnight on July 28th in order to be counted.
Once completed, ballots may be e-mailed to pjcjmc3@sbcglobal.net. This is the most effective way to make sure that your vote is counted!
Professionals who participate will be joining nearly 2,000 other comics’ professionals in honoring the outstanding comics’ achievements of 2005. Your vote on this Final Ballot will help choose the winners of the 2005 Harvey Awards. The Harvey Awards are the only industry award both nominated and selected by the full body of comic book professionals.
The Harvey Awards have moved to the Baltimore Comic-Con, held each year at the Baltimore Convention Center in September. The Baltimore Comic-Con (www.comicon.com/baltimore) will be held September 9-10, open Saturday 10 AM to 6 PM and Sunday 10 AM to 5 PM. The ceremony and banquet for the 2006 Harvey Awards will be held Saturday night, September 9.
The Master of Ceremonies for the ceremony will be the Harvey and Eisner Award winning Kyle Baker. In addition, the guest list for the convention is large and impressive, and a number of the Harvey nominees will be present.
We look forward to your participation and input in this process, and we look forward to seeing you at the Baltimore Comic-Con and the Harvey Awards.
