Broken Frontier

Five days before arriving in stores on June 15, HAWKMAN #41 (APR050337) sold out at DC Comics!  This issue, written by Justin Gray & Jimmy Palmiotti and illustrated by Joe Bennett & Ruy Jose, continues the yearlong storyline that leads up to a stunning finale in October’s issue #45.

“We are really thrilled with the overwhelming response the book has received recently, and the sell-out is a clear indication that new readers are giving the book a shot as well and continuing to buy it…which is the greatest thing any monthly title can have happen to it,” says Palmiotti.  “Justin and I are trying to give the fans the finest possible book we can, month after month, and the art by Joe Bennett and Ruy Jose is some of the most exciting examples of graphic storytelling being done today.”

• HAWKMAN #43 (JUN050367) is solicited in the June Previews (Volume XV #6) and is scheduled to arrive in stores on August 10.

• HAWKMAN #44 (JUL05230) is solicited in the July Previews (Volume XV #7) and is scheduled to arrive in stores on September 14.
