Although a banner number of excellent films were submitted and the selection process was quite difficult, 3 Boys Productions has chosen seventeen of the most fantastic short films to be showcased at the first "Indy Film Expo" at Megacon. The "Indy Film Expo" will showcase short independent films in the genres of action, animation, anime, comedy, superheroes, science fiction, suspense, and horror.
A total of 17 short films and 4 exclusive previews of maverick feature-length films have been selected to show at this charitable event on February 25th at 6pm until 8pm at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando--the site of MEGACON!
A $5.00 donation will be taken at the door to benefit ACTOR (A Commitment To Our Roots) which is the first-ever federally chartered not-for-profit corporation dedicated strictly to helping comic book creators in need.
Terry Cronin, the "Indy Film Expo" program chairman and publisher of the horror anthology "Students of the Unusual", states "Megacon is always a great time and we're looking forward to fun film program, too. It makes it even better when this kind of fun can be had while helping a great cause."
