Broken Frontier

Dan Jurgens, whose thrilling artwork has graced DCU projects including the classic “Death of Superman” storyline and the upcoming miniseries INFINITE CRISIS AFTERMATH: THE BATTLE FOR BLUDHAVEN, has signed an exclusive contract with DC Comics. 

“Everyone in comics admires the sense of enthusiasm and creative hustle that DC exudes these days,” says Jurgens.  “When (Senior VP — Executive Editor, DCU) Dan DiDio and (Group Editor) Eddie Berganza approached me with the idea of joining DC exclusively, with Dan saying he wanted a ‘gunslinger,’ I couldn’t help but be intrigued.  Working in a high-octane environment like the one at DC gets the creative fires burning and that adds up to books reflecting that energy and excitement.  We have some very exciting projects planned for the next few years and I can’t wait to get started.  I spent a fair amount of time contributing to the DCU’s past.  It's great to be back amid friends with a chance to contribute to its future.”
