Silent Devil is pleased to announce it has sold through every single last copy of the first printing of The Last Sin of Mark Grimm #1. To celebrate, and in order to keep the series in print, a new 2nd printing has been minted. It also allows Silent Devil a chance to showcase pin-ups from some of the best independent artists in the field today.
"Don't call it a comeback," says publisher Christian Beranek, with a wink and a nod. "M. Sean McManus (creator/writer of The Last Sin of Mark Grimm) hustled his tail off to get the word out about the book and it paid off. We're ecstatic to be able to offer a 2nd printing for fans of this awesome crime tale."
"Mark Grimm is relentless, just like his creator," explains Silent Devil Marketing Director Tony DiGerolamo. "Chris Moreno drapes each page with film noir goodness."
"I am thrilled to death," says M. Sean McManus. "We had so many great pin-ups come in from so many talented artists, it was overwhelming. We all know how hard it is to get noticed as an independent in the big book. By taking Mark Grimm to conventions all around the country, comic fans of every variety took notice and really responded to what we've created. Some have even bought multiple copies as gifts for friends and families. That sort of approval is hard to come by, and I think it makes all of us involved feel fantastic."
The new printing of The Last Sin of Mark Grimm #1 features a B&W version of the original cover by Tommy Castillo (Batman, Se7en) and is available for sale at www.silentdevil.com
Issue 4, the series finale, will be on store shelves in January, 2007.
